Everyone loves new skins and additions to CS2. Luckily, Valve has treated us with this update.
One of the best additions to this update is that many of the skins can be gained for free. Valve has introduced Three New CS2 collections, which have been added to the Weekly Care Package system. Ascent, Boreal and Radiant skins from this update can all be dropped if you have an account in CS2 Prime Status.
Not just skins, in this update we got some great new map adjustments. All the skins, features and images are here.
Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant Collections
The CS2 drop system has introduced new skins for the weekly pool of drops. These specific skins are a part of three collections, which can be seen below.
Ancient Collection: This collection contains one classified skin, M4A1-S | Stratosphere, and two Restricted skins, USP-S | Royal Guard and AK-47 | Midnight Laminate. You will likely receive a skin with less rarity than these, but you might get lucky!

Boreal Collection: AWP | Green Energy is a Classified skin here. M4A4 | Sheet Lightning and Glock-18 | Glockingbird are the only two Restricted items in this collection.
Radiant Collection: includes AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge as a Classified skin. Desert Eagle | Mulberry, M4A1-S | Glitched Paint, and USP-S | Bleeding Edge are the Restricted items.
Train 2025: Collection Refreshed
Train 2025 Collection: The first Train Collection was added to the original CSGO in 2013, with a refreshed version released in 2021. Now with the brand new 2025 release. The Train map recently got a new overhaul, and to celebrate this, we received a fresh take on skins in this collection. The skins in this collection can be found below.
Fever Case 2025: Available Via Armory
Fever Case 2025: The Counter-Strike 2 forward update brought new changes to the Armory, with the new Fever Case being added to the game, which costs 2 Armory credits and is an addition to the Battle Pass.
XM1014 | Solitude: Limited Edition

Skins that change with different seeds are not unique. The Counter-Strike community is treated to a skin that goes further, with pattern changes. The limited edition skin XM1014 is available within the Spring Forward update and can be seen below. and is a sight to behold!
Inferno and Train: Visual Improvements
As stated previously with skins are just not a beneficiary of this update. The dev team at Valve have introduced some great visual improvements to the Train and Inferno maps. This makes it easier to see enemies and increases visibility while playing these two maps.
